She was very self-conscious about this tooth and would hesitate to smile because of it. We did a thorough dental examination and took the necessary digital x-rays to make our diagnosis. I recommended for her internal tooth whitening, which is whitening from within the tooth vs bleaching from the outside-in (traditional whitening technique). This is a case-specific technique.
